Yaadhum wins the Bronze Remi Award in the Ethnic/Culture category at the 48th WorldFest Houston International Film Festival, 2015

  • Bronze Remi award at the 48th WorldFest Houston International Film Festival: ‘Yaadhum’ (All), our documentary film which traces the history and identity of the less known Tamil Muslim community, has won a Bronze Remi award in the Cultural / Ethnic category at the recently concluded 48th Annual World Fest-Houston International Film festival, 2015 in USA. WorldFest-Houston is the third longest-running International Film Festival in North America, and the Oldest Independent Film Festival in the world. There were participants from 33 countries this year with more than 550 International Filmmakers attending the festival.
  • The Aga Khan Museum in Toronto chose Yaadhum for its inaugural film series in February 2015
  • Tamil Nadu Progressive Writers & Artists Association chose ‘Yaadhum’ as the Best Documentary Film in the year 2014.
  • ‘Yaadhum’ was screened at the prestigious ‘Hindu LitFest’, 2014 held at Chennai, India
